Travelling by air

Travelling by rail

Bus Éireann offers a nationwide bus service between all major towns, cities and airports. Citylink offers services from Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Shannon airport. Gobus.ie offer non-stop services from Dublin airport via Dublin city.
Travelling by car
There is a nationwide network of routes connecting Galway with the rest of the country. Route planners are available using Google Maps or AA Route Planner.
From Dublin: The M6 motorway connects Dublin with Galway in about 2 hr driving time.
From Limerick: The N18 connects Limerick with Galway in about 1.25 hr driving time.
